If you are unfamiliar with getting to Cascade Locks or just bad with directions, don’t worry, the event site is very easy to get to and the drive is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!  Please carpool or use the shuttle to limit the amount of cars and environmental impact. 

1. Parking on WaNaPa / Main Street. (Day Visitors / Non-Camping.)  If attending PCT DAYS for a few hours or just the day, you’ll need to park on WaNaPa / Main Street or on the access road to the school, (across the street from the entrance to the Marine Park.)  If parking on WaNaPa / Main Street, you can park on either side of the road for 1 mile to the east.  Don’t park in front of businesses on WaNaPa / Main Street to the west!  It is a short walk into the Marine Park by walking down the road and under the train bridge.  Elderly and handicapped people may enter and park anywhere as needed.   Parking staff will direct as needed and parking is free.  Hide valuables out of plain sight.

2. Parking in the Cascade Locks School Field Parking Area. (Overnight Attendees.)  Attendees that are registered to camp and event volunteers that are camping on Thunder Island and will be directed to park in the school lot in the field across from the entrance to the Marine Park.  It’s a short walk from the field into the park.  Due to the land owner’s policy, no car camping, cookouts, etc. are allowed in this lot and security will be enforce this rule.  Hide valuables out of plain sight. 

3. Parking in the Marine Park Grass Parking Area. Sponsor staff, food and beverage vendors, early morning volunteer staff, and medical staff are the only attendees that will be allowed to park in the Marine Park Grass Parking Area.  Parking passes will be issued, vehicles without a pass will be ticketed or towed if they violate the park rules, (by the property owner, not PCT DAYS.)  Hide valuables out of plain sight.  

4. Ride a shuttle bus to PCT Days!  If you are attending PCT DAYS for the afternoon or camping for the full weekend, a bus will get you to Cascade Locks comfortably and quickly!  Visit ColumbiaGorgeExpress.comhttps://www.ridecatbus.org/ , or  https://gorgetranslink.com/# for schedule information and to purchase tickets.

From the West:  Follow I-84 easbound.  Take exit 44 onto Wa Na Pa St / Main St. and follow for about 3/4 mile.  Turn Left onto NW Portage Rd. (right across from the field) into the Marine Park.  The event site is only 42 miles / 45 minutes from Portland.

From the East:  Follow I-84 westbound.  Take exit 44 onto Wa Na Pa St / Main St. and follow for about 1 mile.  Turn Right onto NW Portage Rd. (right across from the field) into the Marine Park.  The event site is only 20 miles / 25 minutes from Hood River.

If arriving by plane:  Portland Airport (PDX) is only a 45 minute drive to the event site and you will want to use the “from the west” directions above.
